The solution for Fundação Jacto Agrícola in 2020, GS40
Our relationship with Fundação Jacto Agrícola began at the end of 2020, when at the beginning of our venture we started promoting new automatic grinding solutions.
With Jacto having chosen the GS40, a CNC machine with a working area of 550 x 300 mm and a maximum workpiece weight of 50 kg, it was complete with all the strengths that distinguish our solutions:
- Extremely robust construction
- 5 axes, 3 linear and 2 rotary
- In-process measurement system
- High power electric spindle
- Tool exchange system with the possibility of 20 positions available, to carry out cutting, deburring and pre-machined processes.
A solution with great flexibility
The installation was completed in a very short time, considering that our technicians in Brazil (since Covid has confined us) had to install a new solution that they were unaware of.
There were difficulties, but with the experience of our collaborators, such as Julio JMC and Euromac América Latina, and the continuous support of the manufacturing company Yuyang, acceptance came after 4 weeks of work.
From that moment on, Jacto’s technician and programmer, achieved confidence and mastery of the process, which allowed him to create 54 programs for different codes in complete autonomy, taking advantage of his skill and the great flexibility of the solution.
Here comes the new confirmation: the GS70 machine.
GS70 Machine
After about 2 years of using the machine, therefore more than enough time to get to know the GS40, Jacto decided to confirm its confidence in Lianco by ordering the second CNC solution for larger castings, with a GS70, automatic deburring machining center with a working area of 750 x 400 mm and a workpiece weight of up to 100 Kg.
Conceptually, the solution has the same features that all Lianco solutions offer, but unlike the GS40, it has a larger workspace.
The aim is to be able to facilitate quick programming considering a much larger work area and with the remote CNC supplied as standard, this way the programmer will be able to carry out programs, updates and changes online much faster than the GS40 which it had been provided with a Hand-wheel programming system.
“During my last visit to Jacto – says Luca Tonazzo, Sales Manager for Mexico, Latin America and the Iberian Peninsula – it was an obligation to thank the customer for confirming their confidence in our solutions. During these years we have constantly tried to be by their side, but certainly it must be recognized to customer that they were extremely brave to take the first call in 2020. Their aim for continuous improvement naturally took them to introduce this new process in their foundry.”
